Arsenal Make £40m Striker Top January Target

Arsenal are back in the hunt for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema after making him a top target ahead of the January transfer window.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has made no secret of his interest in Benzema, having reportedly tried to sign him in each of the last three transfer windows.
And now reports say the Frenchman will try again in the new year, having made Benzema a top target in Arsenal’s hunt for a new striker.

Liverpool are also keen on Benzema, who is rated at about £40million, and they’re also eyeing up a move when the window re-opens.
Madrid are reluctant to do business without having a replacement lined up, but Arsenal do enjoy a great relationship with them – which could prove to be crucial in any deal.
