MEN ARE BETTER THAN WOMEN AT READING MAPS IS THE REASON WHY

If you ever wondered why men are better at reading maps than women, then you might just have found the answer and the reason would probably shock you. LOL.

According to research at the University of Utah, men are wired to want to spread their genes far afield, either to reduce the chance of inbreeding or to increase opportunities to mate.
In the study, researchers looked at two tribes in Namibia where men regularly roam more than 120 miles every year, mating with women in the regions they cover.
Layne Vashro had the following to say about the study:

“Navigation ability facilitates traveling longer distances and exploring new environments and the farther you travel, the more likely you are to encounter new mating opportunities.
“It looks like men who travel more in the past year also have children from more women – what you would expect if mating was the payoff for travel.”
So if you ever wondered why navigational and directional skills are far more developed in men than in women, sex is the reason.
