Residents of Koromatangi area in Kakamega county are in shock after a woman inflicted severe burn injuries on her two daughters using a hot knife as a form of punishment.

her temper when she came home only to find that the girls had not done their domestic chores. The two girls were rescued by neighbors who realized that the girls were having difficulties walking and reported the matter to a local police station.
